The Jon DeLuca Youth Memorial Tennis Fund was founded by Al DeLuca in memory of his son Jon DeLuca, a resident of Darien, CT, who passed away on July 14, 2018 at the age of 46. Jon was the eldest son of Al and Mary Ann DeLuca.

Jon attended high school in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated in 1989 from Shady Side Academy. Jon served as a Managing Director and Operating Partner at Digital Bridge Holdings, LLC. Prior to that, Jon served as President & CEO of Wilcon Holdings, LLC from 2011, when he founded the business with Pamlico Capital, until its sale to Crown Castle International Corp. in 2017. He also worked for FiberNet Telecom Group based in New York from 1999-2009 and in investment banking at Bear, Stearns & Co, Inc. and Lazard Freres & Co. LLC.

In his spare time, Jon stayed active through playing tennis, golf and skiing. He loved to travel and experience different cultures, and was enthusiastic about seeing as much of the world as possible. He had a world map in his home office where he tracked all the places he had visited and was known for choosing his next travel destination upon returning home from a trip.

Jon had the extraordinary ability to make make lasting friendships everywhere he went and he is well remembered by friends and acquaintances as well as colleagues and employees.

While an excellent leader, mentor and friend, Jon was best at being a father to Julia and Alex. He was completely devoted to his children and spent as much time as possible with them. He followed the philosophy: a time to work and a time to play, and play was always with his kids. Jon accompanied his children to numerous tennis and soccer tournaments and  wonderful family vacations. Jon is survived by his children, Julia and Alex, his father, Al and his brother, Doug.
